Nesting Doll Room

I painted this set of nesting dolls for a sweet little girl named Katelyn. She has already enjoyed some  conversations with her new "friends". :) This was a really fun room to paint! I coordinated the dolls with some fabric Katelyn's mom is going to use for bedding and for a tent.
I also painted a tree with a peacock on the opposite wall.

Monochromatic Tree Mural

These monochromatic trees are really fun and quick to paint. They usually take about 3-4 hours, depending on their size. They are subtle enough that you can still decorate on top of them, but are also substantial enough that you can leave them alone as well.

Bathroom Mural

This mural was done for a sweet family that has an Addie, Tate, and Millie that coordinates with the shower curtain. A really fun idea if you have a bathroom just for your kids!

Clara's Bedroom

This room was done back in August of 2010 and it still one of my favorites. It's so funky and unique and I love how the room is decorated. Clara's mom painted the room lavender and had the idea to do a red tree...wasn't too sure how it was going to look, but love how it turned out!

Also painted a fun peacock resting on the door.

Close-up of the owl in the tree.

Some of the leaves, flowers, and bird.

Trees are certainly my top requested mural, but they can be done in so many different ways and I really enjoy painting them.

Welcome to my new blog!

Welcome!
I thought I'd start a new blog to document my latest art projects and have a place for people to see my portfolio. I feel so blessed and truly thankful for the opportunities I've had to paint and create, especially in just the last few months. I am a stay at home mom and have been for the last 5 years and am so thankful I am able to stay home with them, but this has given me an outlet to be creative as well and I am absolutely loving it the combination of being at home and "working" (though it doesn't feel like work at all!).

It's been so fun meeting new people and helping them create unique art for their home. If you have any questions or need help coming up with an idea for a piece of art work, please feel free to contact me at

Thank you!
